A scenic view of palm trees against a sunset sky. — Indio Elks Lodge #1643
A scenic view of palm trees against a sunset sky.

At 46301 Madison St, the Indio Elks Lodge #1643 has been a fixture of the Coachella Valley for decades, drawing members, guests, and RV travelers who keep coming back, not for flash, but for the people. Rated 4.7 out of 5 stars across 130 reviews, this lodge earns its reputation the old-fashioned way: a welcoming staff, activities that actually fill a calendar, and a community that treats strangers like they already belong.

The RV campground on the property tells part of the story. Sites run just $35 a night with water and 30-amp hookups, plus an on-site dump station, making it a favorite stop for rally groups and solo travelers rolling through the desert. The annual Halloween Roundup Rally each October has become a local landmark event, pulling in campers who come for the hookups and stay for the people.

Beyond the campground, lodge life here is genuinely active. Dinners, community fundraisers, and member events keep the calendar full year-round. The Elks mission, rooted in charity, justice, and brotherly love since 1868, plays out in real and tangible ways inside this Indio chapter every single week.

What We Offer

Lodge #1643 offers members a full slate of benefits: a comfortable clubhouse, regular dining events with food that earns real compliments, and a social calendar packed with activities that give you reasons to show up.

The on-site RV park accommodates guests with water and 30-amp electrical hookups at just $35 per night, along with a convenient dump station. It is a practical, affordable option in a valley where campground costs can climb fast. Rally groups have made this spot a recurring destination, and first-timers consistently leave planning their return.

Membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks also connects you to a national network of over 800,000 members, local scholarship programs, veterans outreach, and community service initiatives that give the lodge its real purpose beyond the dining room walls.

"Just attended their annual October Halloween Roundup Rally! Camping area is nice, but not extravagant, mostly power and water sites with a dump station on your way out! But their people are awesome and fun! We had corn hole, and shuffleboard tournaments, Bunko and cribbage games! Feed us every night with great food, open no host bar and the best French fries you will ever eat! Love this facility and the people, will definitely go back next year!"

"We had the best time staying in the RV park! Kory was quick to respond to requests and the staff and volunteers were fabulous. They serve lunch most weekdays and a yummy breakfast on Sundays - all from a menu! Amazon drop boxes, laundromat and shopping nearby- we would stay again in a heartbeat 💓"

"Dropped into the Indio Elks Lodge on Madison for the first time to get a quick beverage. Found a wonderful Elks Lodge with a huge RV Parking Area for Overnight Stays. The Lodge has regular events, great drinks and food for a reasonable price. Service was excellent. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up 👍 Thank you!"
